EUROPE’S FIRST-EVER DEDICATED LGBT+ TV CHANNEL LAUNCHED ON SKY!

London/Dublin – After being successfully launched in various countries in Europe and the Middle East, OUTtv, the lifestyle TV-channel for the gay and open minded, launched this morning in the UK & Ireland on SKY channel 330!

Today not only marks the celebration of OUTtv's 12th anniversary, but we are also delighted to welcome OUTtv UK & Ireland as the newest additions to the most colourful TV-network in Europe!


OUTtv offers a broad variety of programming reflecting the diversity of its audience; arthouse films, short films, hysterical series, award winning documentaries, local UK & Irish pride reports and compelling TV shows, such as Drag Race Thailand, Shade- Queens of NYC, My Life is a Telenovela, Back to Corsica, The Fashion Hero and the trivia game show, Gay for Play, where a panel of six celebrities help two contestants answer pop culture questions to win cash and prizes, hosted by the one and only RuPaul!

OUTtv has selected the United Kingdom to premiere the very first OUT original documentary series: ‘Tommy in Lalaland’, starring Shangela, Coco Peru and Haaz Sleiman. Due to the broad variety of programming, OUTtv expects to attract a significant ‘straight’ oriented audience in the United Kingdom & Ireland; already appr. 35% of its viewers is female and straight.

OUTtv will hold a nationwide search, looking for new presentation talent in their hit show: ‘OUT wanted’. This search where OUTtv will hold screen-tests in various UK & Irish cities, will take over the nation later this year.
