During her latest makeup-tutorial she talked about how uploading her coming-out video made her feel the most nervous, stressed and scared that she has ever been, describing it as a ‘dark feeling.’ She even admits to not being able to face the outside world for two days, out of fear of what people might say to her, and was also worried about people potentially staring at her. When she eventually left her house, she first came across one of her neighbours. According to Nikkie, the neighbour expressed how proud she was of her, which made the beauty vlogger tear up.
In the video, she remains tight-lipped regarding the identity of her blackmailer who threatened to expose her as transgender to the media. She also calls on her followers to stop searching for the person in question, emphasizing the amount of damage her significant number of followers could cause for this individual. She clarifies that the blackmailer already has been punished and is most likely in constant fear of his name leaking in the press.
Nikkie also expresses her gratitude to her fans for being so accepting and supportive. The YouTube sensation came out as a transgender woman two weeks ago and since then, the video has garnered over 30 million views. Watch her coming out video below:
