The orgy organised by the priest came to light last year after emergency services were called to resuscitate a participant who had overdosed on Viagra. Since the orgy took place on church property, the local bishop, as the ultimate authority, submitted his resignation. The priest was also relieved of his duties.

However, the ambulance personnel were initially not allowed into the apartment. It was only after the paramedics called the police that the unwell participant could be treated. The former priest is now sentenced to 18 months in prison for, among other things, distributing drugs and refusing medical assistance. Additionally, he must pay a compensation of 15,000 zloty, approximately 3,006 GBP, to the victim.
