Kendall Anderson and Peder Sevig were in Big Boy Gyros with a group of friends on Monday evening (May 17) until they heard they had to stop cuddling by a member of staff.

The couple, both of whom are studying at the Lane Tech High School in Chicago, says the group had already decided to leave the restaurant after this, but afterwards they were told that "their kind are not welcome here."

"We can't let two boys cuddle here," said the staff member, Anderson said. "And then he said something in the trend that if it were a boy and a girl, it would be good, but we can't allow two boys." Just before the boys left, he said, ‘Go away. We don't want your kind here, that's all’."

The restaurant does not want to comment on the situation.
