In GCN magazine, McMahon released a few minor details about this year's entry. "I can’t reveal anything about the song, I can exclusively tell GCN that the act is an artistically on point LGBT act.’’
"We want Europe to know that Ireland 2020 is a fresh look, a fresh vibe, and a fresh start!’’ said McMahon.
As of now, it is still unknown which artist will represent Ireland during the Song Contest. 2018’s Irish entry also represented the community by having a same-sex dance couple portray a romantic story on stage during Ryan O’Shaughnessy’s ‘’Together.’’
Ireland is in the first half during the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held on May 14 in Rotterdam.
