RuPaul proposes a children's and senior version of "Drag Race"

RuPaul proposed two new spin-offs from his Drag Race at the largest television trade fair in the world, MIPCOM: Drag Race especially for children and one for seniors. After 11 seasons, it appears that the team behind the increasingly popular series is hoping to broaden its horizons.

RuPaul presented the new ideas during an interview at the fair. There he received the Variety Vanguard Award for the impact of his programs. In addition to the regular seasons of Drag Race, the spin-offs Untucked, All Stars, Drag Race UK, Drag Race Thailand and Drag U also exist. So now the creators are hoping to add two more.

RuPaul expressed being proud of the program and how people discover their identity through the program. He also said he never expected the impact of his girls to be so big.

It is not yet clear whether TV producers see potential in Drag Race Kids or Senior, but it is clear that the world of Drag Race is still going strong.
