Tel Aviv Calling: Update

Mahmood has fallen ill

The Italian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest Mahmoode, one of Duncan's biggest competitors, has fallen ill. According to Italian media, he has a severe throat infection and a high fever. The ‘Soldi’-singer has cancelled all of his plans for today. Italian fans were saddened by this news, but the organization of the song festival came with a reassuring message: Mahmood is still scheduled to leave for Israel tomorrow for his first rehearsal in Tel Aviv.

Newcomer heading towards the top 5

The first rehearsal of the Moscow-born singer Chingiz (Azerbaijan contestant) was so well received by Eurovision fans that he has suddenly risen to the top 6 in the ranks! Yesterday he was still on the thirteenth position but today he is in sixth place and is getting closer to number 5 (John Lundvik from Sweden).
