The attack happened in a park in the centre of the Irish capital after Pride ended. Of the three victims who had to be taken to hospital, one is still hospitalized. The 19-year-old trans man has suffered a skull fracture.
According to Dublin Live, Irish police are aware of the incident, but are unable to provide further information about the perpetrator or perpetrators.
The news was brought out by parliamentarian Aodhán Ó Ríordáin who is in contact with the victims. ‘’This message was sent to me today from someone whose friends were attacked after Pride on Saturday. We cannot be complacent. Being LGBT+ means you are more likely to be assaulted.’’ He writes on Twitter.
