This year the red carpet is going to be orange! On May 12th, the stars will attend the Opening Ceremony of the Song Festival at Habima Square, which is near Israel's National Theater. All delegations arrive in limousines and after a while they will go on and enjoy an entertaining opening show.

Returning performers
This year the interval acts will incorporate an element in the performance dedicated to the long history of the competition. Previous participants from different participating countries will also appear during this act.
