Utrecht 23 January 2025 - OUTtv’s FAST channel: PRIDEtv dedicated to bringing LGBTQI+ films, series, documentaries, and entertainment to audiences worldwide, celebrated a significant achievement last night in Rome. Its Italian distribution partner, PlutoTV was honored with the prestigious Rainbow Award, recognizing their efforts in introducing PRIDEtv to the Italian media landscape and promoting diversity and inclusivity.

Since its launch just eight months ago, PRIDEtv has expanded to more than 30 countries across Europe and Latin America, delivering a diverse array of LGBTQI+ programming to viewers. This recognition underscores the channel’s impact in providing authentic stories that celebrate the LGBTQI+ community and its rich culture.

The Rainbow Awards, a unique event celebrating individuals and organizations that champion diversity and inclusivity, was held in the vibrant city of Rome. The ceremony was attended by notable figures from Italy’s media and entertainment sectors, LGBTQI+ community leaders, and prominent personalities from TV and music. Other winners of the evening included Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome; Valentina Petrillo, Paralympian; and journalist Maria Berlinguer. FOMO CMO Ian van der Putten accepted the award on behalf of PRIDEtv, alongside a representative from Paramount (PlutoTV).
