Snart är Stockholms Filmfestival igång igen. 150 filmer från 60 olika länder kommer att visas under festivalen som pågår 8-19 november. En tredjedel av årets regissörer är kvinnor och årets tema är Change.

Det finns många filmer att se fram emot, inte minst flera spännande HBTQ-filmer. Thelma regisserad av Joachim Trier som beskrivs som en lesbisk sci-fi, årets kanske mest omtalade gayfilm Call Me By Your Name av Luca Guadagnino, och dokumentären This is Everything där vi får följa transkvinnan Gigi Gorgeous resa.
 
Och för skräckfilmsälskare ger The Cured med Ellen Page ett helt nytt och spännande perspektiv på zombiegenren.
 
Andra filmer som finns att se fram emot är Guillermo del Toro’s Shape of Watersom öppnar festivalen och Downsizing med Matt Damon och Kristen Wiig, där norska forskare ger människor erbjudandet att förminska sig själva till 13 cm för att spara på ekonomin och därigenom få ett bättre liv.
 
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri  med Frances McDormand kommer också att visas under festivalen. Den fick People Choice Award på filmfestivalen i Toronto vilket är en av de största indikationerna på att en film kommer att bli Oscarsnominerad…
 
Festivalprogrammet finns nu att plocka på stan, och biljetter till alla filmer finns att köpa nu.
