Someone posted a video on Twitter in which a gay man is threatened by another man in The McDonalds due to his ‘’disrespectful clothing’’. The young gay man just came from a Barcelona Pride event and was told ‘’I’ll beat the gay out of you’’ among other hurtful comments and threats (watch the video here).
The aggressor made it clear that he did not agree with the gay man’s outfit and found it to be ‘’disrespectful to dress like that’’ in public. The young man was wearing a bright neon tank top, denim shorts and platform sneakers.
However, he was not about to let the aggressive remarks slide by without standing up for himself, while angrily telling security: ‘’I really have to put up with a guy telling me that I can’t dress like this?’’ When emphasizing that it was Gay pride, the man in black said that he doesn’t care what day it is, adding: ‘’it is also a good day to punch you. Do you want to see?’’
The aggressor insisted on taking it outside, threatening to beat the gay man so hard ‘’till he becomes heterosexual’’ and ‘’his queerness disappears’’. The police arrived shortly after the filming had stopped. The victim chose not to press charges however.
