Artisterna klara inför Melodifestivalen 2018

Melodifestivalens startfält 2018 presenterades på en presskonferens i tv-huset i dag. Många debutanter och starkt lysande karaktärer kommer att bjuda på en otroligt spännande tävling nästa år, spår Christer Björkman.

Nu kan man börja peppa för "Mello". En rejäl blandning av bidrag verkar leda till ett riktigt snackis-år!
Till nästa års tävling skickades 2 771 låtbidrag in till Melodifestivalen. Totalt medverkar 37 artister, varav 14 kvinnor och 23 män. 23 artister debuterar i Melodifestivalen, medan 14 artister har deltagit i Melodifestivalen tidigare.
Schlagergeneral Christer Björkman säger att urvalet bjuder på mer humor och "edge" jämfört med förra tävlingen
"Vi ville skapa utrymme för att ta ut svängarna underhållningsmässigt," säger han.
Programledare blir artisten David Lindgren, som förra året ledde tävlingen tillsammans med Hasse Andersson och Clara Henry.
